Tatron — commonly known in the trade as Tetron — is a lightweight polyester lining fabric used to finish the inside of jackets, blazers and trousers. A buyer never inspects a lining the way they inspect the shell fabric, but they feel it every time the garment goes on: a lining that clings, traps heat or wears through at the seams turns a well-made outer shell into a garment that feels cheap.
We manufacture Tatron for a smooth, slightly slippery hand-feel that lets a garment slide on and off easily, in a consistent weight and finish across every roll, so a jacket lined from metre 5 feels the same as one lined from metre 500.
